Director of Physician Clinics
Manages the daily activities of a medical clinic staffed many physicians in various specialties. Responsible for hiring and training support staff. Prepares budgets, orders clinical equipment and supplies to fill patient needs and meet financial concerns. Establishes and oversees billing practices. May be responsible for contracts or negotiations with insurance providers. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
As an organization leader, this position shares accountability for facilitating organizational and department goals using effective leadership knowledge, skills and abilities that ensure achievement of expected results for patient/customer service, employee engagement, financial health, business growth and quality and safety outcomes.
Required: Associates Degree in business management, finance, accounting or closely related field
Exception: If hired into this role before 10/01/2020: Associates Degree or equivalent years experience in practice leadership.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in business management, finance, accounting or closely related field
Required: Five years of clinic practice experience, including 2 years of practice management
