Director of Imaging
Job Description
The Director of Imaging directs the Oro Valley Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Department's operations. Supervises new testing procedures and related protocol. Regulates the maintenance of departmental facilities, supplies, equipment, and material in a manner to promote health, comfort, and efficiency. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Education
Required: Bachelors, Radiography or related
Experience
Required: 5 years leadership; 10 years imaging
Licenses/Certifications
Required: Nationally recognized certification as required by profession in area of radiology expertise;
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification; CRT license from State of AZ Medical Radiological Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE).
