Director of Facilities
The Director of Facilities is responsible for the oversight of all facility operations and management for Oro Valley Hospital.
Directs an organization's facilities department. Oversees the functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and elevators. May manage the maintenance of buildings and grounds. Oversees contractors for facility renovation projects entailing HVAC, electrical systems, and production floor arrangement. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
Required: High School or equivalent years of experience.
Preferred: Post high school vocational/Specialized training: Apprenticeship trade/technical school training in electrical, HVAC, plumbing or millwright.
Required: Two (2) years leadership experience in maintenance or facility operations;
Preferred: Experience in a healthcare environment with large power plants.
