Job Description

The Director of Case Management is a Nursing Leader responsible for the oversight of the Case Management and Social Services Department at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ.

As an organization leader, this position shares accountability for facilitating organizational and department goals using effective leadership knowledge, skills and abilities that ensure achievement of expected results for patient/customer service, employee engagement, financial health, business growth and quality and safety outcomes.

Responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data, computer literacy, gathering needed information, delegating and supporting teams, evaluating decisions/solutions, improving work process, making effective decisions.  The Director of Case Management works to improve work processes while treating others with respect and valuing diversity.  Must have excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills.  Experience with demonstrating, facilitating, and public speaking.  Proven success with measuring customer service and meeting customer needs. The Case Management Director will partner with customers and promote NMC mission, vision and core values.

Education

 Required: ADN or BSN
Preferred: MHA, MBA or other relevant masters degree.

Experience

Required: Ten years clinical RN experience, including three (3) years of case management experience
Preferred: Two years Case Management leader experience

License/Certifications

Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license.
Preferred: Certified Case Manager certification (CCM)
