Job Description

Seeking a CT- Radiology Specialist - Lead. This position is a FT - day shift- to join our team at our Northwest Sahuarita Hospital. Our focus is on high quality patient care through patient assessment, critical thinking skills, time management and teamwork.

Required: ARRT registered, MRTBE (Arizona CRT and CTCT) certified and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
Preferred: ARRT Advanced Certification in CT



Leads and performs all CT diagnostic techniques and examinations by established protocols.  Leads and performs diagnostic medical radiographic examinations.  Ensures that the patient is properly prepared for the diagnostic procedure by verifying that an informed patient consent has been properly executed and if necessary, arranges for one to be provided.  Prepares patient and adjusts equipment for procedure.  Positions and instructs patient regarding procedures and administers contrast media when ordered. Presents proposals to department head on all department issues, such as new devices, protocols, or designs of equipment, changes in treatment, planning, research, etc. Assists with inventory and purchasing of supplies and equipment.
