The kitchen staff at Northwest Houghton Hospital is a diverse culinary team that works together to provide exceptional food and care for our patients, visitors and staff.

Position Summary:

The Cook prepares and serves high quality nutritious meals in a safe and sanitary manner.  Cook duties includes all hot prep and cooking for department. Temporary training will be at Northwest Medical Center.

Food is prepared and both served through the Cafeteria to Staff, Physicians and Visitors in addition to meals being delivered to patients' rooms throughout the day.      

  Follows a menu to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, gravies, cereals, soups, vegetables and other foods for service in an institutional setting.

Opening early 2022, Northwest Medical Center Houghton is a 52-bed, full-service hospital serving Tucson's east side. With a cath lab, labor and delivery unit, intensive care and neonatal intensive care units, full lab and radiology services and four operating rooms supporting a broad array of specialties, Northwest Medical Center Houghton holds plenty of opportunity for applicants.
