Clinical Nursing Lead ( RN ) PACU Days - Full Time at Oro Valley Hospital 

 

What you'll do:

The Clinical Nurse Leader in PACU is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for the coordination and effective operation of the unit on the assigned shift. CNL Performs duties in the nursing capacity as needed and is qualified.

Plans, directs, and evaluates the overall nursing care and functions in a particular nursing unit or during an assigned shift. Coordinates the activities of the unit and directs, organizes, and assigns work. Assesses, monitors, and educates on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary. 

Requires a registered nurses license and experience in the Preop and PACU , caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients pre and post surgical procedures.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements    

Education:                

ADN or Diploma in Nursing program required.  BSN preferred.                                                    

Experience:                

Two (2) years of experience in specialty area preferred . One (1) year in supervisory capacity preferred.                          

Skills:                

Interview others; Team facilitation & meeting skills.            

Licenses/Certifications:        

Required:

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

American Heart Association (AHA)  or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS , ACLS , PALS
