Job Description

This is a full time position working night shift in the Progressive Care Unit at Northwest Medical Center. 

Dynamic, high acuity, progressive care unit with wide variety of experience opportunities. This increased surveillance unit offers a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio while providing high quality care to our patients. Nurses can develop their skill set by providing for patients that include: post cardiac surgery and Cath Lab procedures, alcohol withdrawal, heart and respiratory failure, dysrhythmias, rattlesnake bites, hypo/hypertension, requiring medication drips, and many more.

Plans, directs, and evaluates the overall nursing care and functions in a particular nursing unit or during an assigned shift. Coordinates the activities of the unit and directs, organizes, and assigns work. Assesses, monitors, and educates on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary. Associate's degree in nursing required. Bachelors degree preferred. At least 3-5 years of clinical experience. Licensure as a registered nurse.
