The CNL Clinical Nurse Leader is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for the coordination and effective operation of the unit on the ICU.
Responsible for compliance with overall nursing practice standards of the specialty area. Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift. Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.
ADN or Diploma in Nursing program required. BSN preferred.
Two (2) years of experience in specialty area preferred . One (1) year in supervisory capacity preferred.

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license
AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC ( American Red Cross) BLS & ACLS
