Center of Excellence Coordinator (Stroke)
This is a Full time position working at Northwest Medical Center.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Required: Associates or Diploma in nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing
Clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.
Current Arizona RN license or compact state license
Overseeing the daily operations and accreditation of the Stroke Program within a hospital. Schedules employee shifts and ensures admitting and discharge functions are providing for optimal patient flow. Ensures that hospital resources are being used in the most efficient manner. Assigns patients to appropriate health practitioners. May perform other administrative functions as necessary. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Associates Degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred in an area of specialty and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
