Position is Part Time working Day shift with call and rotation in the Pre-op and PACU at the Northwest Sahuarita Hospital
Great opportunity to join the team at our New Neighborhood Hospital in Sahuarita! Looking for RN's with PreOp and Recovery Room experience. Our Northwest Sahuarita Hospital features 2 OR's providing general surgery services and well as orthopedic , podiatry, and Endoscopy / GI services.
Requires a registered nurses license and experience in the PACU , caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients post surgical procedures.
Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Required: Associates or Diploma in nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing
Experience:
Clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS , ACLS & PALS
