Job Description

This is a full time Purchasing Clerk Sr working at Houghton Hospital.

Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. High School diploma or equivalent. College coursework preferred. At least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
